Bullying in schools is a worldwide problem that can have negative effects on the school, when it should be in a safe environment without fear. This could have negative lifelong consequences for students who bully and for students that are being bullied. There is a lot of harm done to victims that later have an impact, it’s mostly mentally and trauma that victims suffer. “In Brazil last month, after a gunman who killed 12 students at a school in Rio de Janeiro said in a homemade video that bullying was one of his motives.” (Shoichet, "Bullying grabs global attention", 2011). The harm done to people is really something that should be notice. It’s just doesn’t happen in the united stated but all over the world. There sad stories like this could have been prevented, by respecting one another.

In Britain one expert figure that 1.3 million children are involved in bullying.” what they propose, "The solution is simple. We will single out systematically the students that have been bullying on this network, and they will see their accounts closed," he said. This shows how much lacking in enforcement is being done to stop bullying.
